Your first Sabbath

Here’s the whole morning, no surprises.

Visiting a new fellowship is intimidating, especially one that meets on Saturday. So here’s exactly what happens, start to finish. Services usually wrap around 1:00.

10:00

Breakfast & fellowship

Coffee’s on, the table’s set. Come early and meet the family, no name tags, no spotlight.

11:00

Worship

Hearts lifted, voices loud, hands free. Nobody watches you worship, everyone’s busy doing it.

~8 min

Torah portion review

A short walk through the week’s reading, in its first-century context.

Blessing the children

Every child is brought forward and blessed under the chuppah. Then kids head to classes built just for them (or stay with you, both are welcome).

The teaching

Scripture opened deeply and honestly, with Yeshua at the center. Bring questions.

Honest answers

The questions you’re actually asking.

Do I have to keep kosher or know the rules?

No. There’s no entrance exam and nobody is checking your plate. Come exactly as you are, the rhythms we keep are things we get to grow into, never hoops to jump through.

Will I be the only one who doesn’t know Hebrew?

Not even close. Most of us started with zero Hebrew (plenty of us are still at roughly “shalom”). Everything is spoken and taught in English, Hebrew shows up as flavor, always explained, never assumed.

Is this a real church? It meets on Saturday…

Yes, a fellowship of families centered on Yeshua (Jesus): His life, death, and resurrection. We hold the historic essentials of the faith; we just gather on the seventh-day Sabbath like the earliest believers did. Read our full statement of faith any time.

What about my kids?

Kids aren’t tolerated here, they’re the heartbeat. They’re blessed in the service every week, then loved and taught in age-appropriate classes (nursery through upper elementary, plus youth). They’re also welcome to stay right beside you.

What should I wear?

Whatever’s comfortable. Some dress up, most don’t. Jeans are everywhere. We care about you, not your outfit.

Will I get called out or asked to stand up?

Never. No visitor spotlight, no forced introductions, no pressure to give. Slip in, have a biscuit, see how it feels.

How long does it go?

Breakfast starts at 10:00, the service starts at 11:00, and we usually wrap around 1:00. Plenty of folks linger after, but nobody will blink if you head out.
